The Wake of Sleep

I sandman to oasis dream
As often as I can it seem
I cannot stay awakes true realm
Before the yawn of overwhelm

My head falls down upon my chest
My eyes will close a moments rest
And I am off upon a sail
To touch the inner mind of Braille

It’s there I plow the earth of seem
And plant the bean stork of a dream
And climb it to a rainbow sky
And drink the ecstasy of sigh

It is to me a pains release
An oasis of pure surcease
A kind illusion of succumb
Desires thumb that plucked a plum

So if you see me there in chair
Just leave a note that you were there.

Most of the time, even though my eyes are open, I've had my shower, 2 cups of coffee, I'm still unfortunately in a coma...but I know the jest of your lesson here today...many thanks...smiles and hugs.

You make me think of my Mother. She raised eight kids -whew, and was a master at the cat nap. She would always awake refreshed and ready to continue on.

She used to wake me up, but lately has let me sleep and I'd wake up 2:00AM in the morning and first have to go to sleep. LOL
