Though we stand in this sweet
scented meadow alone, two
trees isolated against the world,
never did i feel more love and happiness.

Tempestuous winds and rain
may shake and soak our boughs
and dry hot sun bake our roots,
but nothing can halt our flourishing progress.

Gracefully we grow, tenderly we love,
nights under stars of midnight blue,
scent of your flowers sends shivers
through my leaves and life courses through me.

Rising energy bristle through
my trunk and branches, sap seeps
into my leaves and bursts my pollen onto the wind
caught by you for our children.

Together we stand tall and weather
the storm, bending but still strong.
Through summer's gentle breeze on warm
days, my branches will reach out to touch yours.

Look for love and happiness...

This is a wondrous beauty of understanding you have penned,

How did Lenny Roth's song go?

When you give love, your receive love?

this was gentle and kind....lovely

This really stuck a chord with me.  Simply beautiful.

In my eyes, I'm not lazy.  In your eyes, I'm not worth it.
