When I'm gone
shed no tears,
sing no sad songs.

Instead remember me
as I would you,
the times we shared
together through
laughter,love
and poetry.

It is hard to know what to say to this.  The passing of a loved one is all well said for the one who has passed, as they have moved on, but for those of us left, yes there is pleasure in the memories but such sorrow in the missing.

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Thank-you Susan.
This is just an old poem of mine that I played around with.
Losing a loved is indeed very hard, those of us living have only memories.
The statement this poem is how I want to be remembered when my time comes.

Thank-you again for the comment.
