Sprinkles of cheeriness,
Fall from sunrise skies.
Specks of sheer happiness,
Kiss me when I rise.

They tickle me with gladness,
They greet me every day.
They wake up all my senses,
And start me on my way.

Star dust falls at nighttime,
Cascading down on me ~
Motes of twinkling starshine,
Make me glow with glee.

Bubbles full of joyfulness,
Rise up from Mother Earth.
They add to my jubilance,
And fill me up with mirth.

Sunny rays of merriment,
Light each morning stroll,
And all the Earthly elements,
Breathe life in to my soul.

Sprinkles of cheeriness,
Fall from sunrise skies.
Specks of sheer happiness,
Kiss me when I rise.

I'll step into that shower of sprinkels and kisses anytime.  A breath of fresh angelic air.  Delightful read.

(does happy dance) Yay! Oh Linda, I always love keeping my blinds open so every morning the sun can shine through and I can leap out of bed and sing along, yay! (kiss on cheek) Sunshine can color and bring joy to any dilly-dally day, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I think this would make a great addition to daily devotionals!  Makes me think of my Dad...I can never remember a morning when we were growing up that he didn't start it out with, "Today is the day that the lord has made; let us REJOICE and be glad in it!"  That REJOICE part works for everybody!  I like your work so much because it is nondenominational, but then, you know that don't you!  hugleroos...jo

I think you've got your 'dusts' confused. That's supposed to be faery dust!

A wonderfully delightful and cheery poem from my dear sister!

Noah ~

I used to close my blinds and curtains before I went to bed each night ~ now I leave them open so that I can see the moon and stars at night and wake up to the sun bathing me in its rays of happiness.

I would have lied your Dad! ~ as I do both of his daughters.  (I've been missing Sadie!).
"Rejoice" is a very elevating word! In fact I posted the following poem last year.

REJOICE!

+*+*+*+*+
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Beneath God's rising Sun!
May all the peoples
Of the world,
Hold hands
And stand as one!

p s ~ I love freckles. In fact, I once posted a poem entitled "Freckle Face" that I had written for my daughter for her 10th birthday.
