Leisurely walk the curving road between the stars
Carry a spirits words….what does she require?

Do you know, the color of her eyes?
Do you know her mountains…her valleys?
Can you let her dream, do you know what gives her joy?
What inspires her heart, have you been there for her?
Do you look into her core like your own?
Place your wisdom in her arms and care to know
Are you humble, not thinking of yourself?
Detach emotionally and listen to her voice
Change the blaming into a better understanding
Can you share with her your joys
Sharing the truth of your sorrows and fears
Which can offer growth, moving beauty beyond years
Do you have more fear of being wrong?
Everyone owns something you do not
Upon realizing the other’s lead, both begin to flow
In movement with the music, gentle cues of rationale
Do you hear her pain or think only of your own
Have you heard what she has to share?
Do you see her without touching her heart
Question is, do you hear what your listening for?

;should one be able to answer "Yes," it would surely be the essence of love.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

LeeJ

To be able to ask these questions means you understand the answers or have experienced them.  I hope you have experienced them!

I wish, I wish -- that I had read this two days ago. I needed it then, and I would have to split myself into two poets, to say how much.

Lee, now if he and she will listen and abide
to this, their relationship would be wonderful.
I'm keeping this to read over and over.
Hugs,
Ethel

This is one of the most wise writes of
love and relationships that I have ever had
the pleasure of reading.....We all have
experienced much of what you have given us.

Question is,  have we applied what we have
learned?   Answer is,  yes to some,  no
to some...but still learning, even to this
day.

Thanx LeeJ,  you have given me the food that
I needed...Now I shall share it with a lady
who shares my life with me.
