my head is pounding
the words i long to say
won't come out anymore
they won't leave my heart
building up
i can't stay like this.

conflicting emotions
identity crisis
so many extremes,
of who i want to be
it all seems so overwhelming
i can't please everyone
but i try so hard to please you..

everything about me right now
was made for you
selected words
selected emotions
it was all for you
just another mask.

if i showed you who i was
you would run
i know your type
but..
being something,
someone
made for you
seems to drive you away more.

i don't remember who i am
it's been so long..
my whole life i've wanted to be everybody else
everybody..but me

young by appearance only..

Be who YOU want to be, you will be much happier....be happy and love yourself for you and don't try to change to please someone else....

If you keep putting on the costume..one day you will ripp it off and come out, because you can't pretend anymore...be real...

Your identity was lost...because you tried to be someone you are not...for someone else to love you...You should watch the movie "Runaway Bride"

The right person will love you for who you are...without the mask..

I think you deserve to be loved and respected. Really enjoyed this piece.

The beauty of nature is displayed,
not through itself,
but through the creatures
dwelling within its bosom.

Always, always, ALWAYS, be who you are,,,if you arent accepted for yourself,,,the life of living a lie,,,leaves you empty and cold,,,wishing to be found,,,and ultimatly,,alone with the real you anyway,,,

I know about this, boy oh boy

tell you what, it was so much fun meeting me...becoming my own best friend, making my own decission, and most of all, getting rid of all the noise...sheeesh, the quiet is utterly music to my ears.

SMiles and hugs...you are your own best friend and upon knowing who you are, where your going, you will identify your needs, and be confident in picking your own friends, instead of letting them pick you.  smiles and hugs, great write
