~* You Are There, Here With Me *~

You are there ~ here with me,
Dust to dust ~ but still I see.
Breath of wind ~ upon my face,
Inhaling memories ~ simple grace.

You are there ~ here with me,
Willow whispers ~ spirits free.
Reminiscence ~ gentle smile,
Warmth of heart ~ for a while.

You are there ~ here with me,
Pirouetting leaf ~ flying free.
Dancing round ~ morning’s dawn,
Celestial sign ~ you’re not gone.

You are there ~ here with me,
Half a whole ~ I’ll always be.
Through destiny ~ we’ll embrace,
Two friends held ~ in his grace.

You are there ~ here with me,
Two hearts entwined ~ forever WE.

~* In Memory of Jenna (Willow) *~
July 1965 - July 2001

I had forgotten she are there, here with me. Thank you Janet Marie for reminding me.

Sharon,  this is certainly a touching and
beautifully expressed poem.  Obviously is
for someone very dear to you.

Jen, what a wonderful surprise to see you here, I have missed you here, and on messenger.

To those that replied I send my thanks.  This is for some reason a very rough time for me right now, but thanks to Kit today, I am on my way back to smile hill   Lots of feelings that are okay, and mine, and had to come out I guess.

Nice to know even though not in "person" the people in here care, and to be honest, if I could hand pick friends to be in my every day life, it would indeed be the caring souls of Passions.

==================================

I wrote a line in a poem once...
something like "how do we let go of the loss, while still holding on to the love"...

It took me 2 years to answer that question, its a process...and each must find their own pace... sometimes we get off the path...we get a little lost... we just have to remember the promises made...and let the "traces left behind" bring us back to what our hearts already know.

and I know that you have known all along...
you just have to allow your self to ask the question.

"What's left of me ... inside of you ... did I leave anything behind,
am I a whisper in your heart ... a ghost of sweet regret in your mind.
Did I leave a trace of contentment ... did I mend the hole in your heart,
am I a secret that you keep ... a kind memory that love imparts."

JM, you are truly the healing spirit moth, yes you are, you are!  I have all day been allowing some kind of process to take place instead of stuffing it back down like I have done for far too long.  A phone call from Kit, and advise from you, and I do believe I can actually see some light.

Was going to call you tomorrow, hope you will be there after Noon, my time?  Maybe get Karen on the phone too?  Check email okay?  AND...thank you for all that you are, as my cup is overflowing in gratitude for what you did today.

Some memories are worth inhaling and fill us up with grace ~ as did this lovely Willow lullaby. You are keeping her alive through your sharing of memories...
