What I Seek

I cross my I and dot my T
And brew my brew of mystery
Drink it in a nighttime brood
It is my let to down my food

Meat and potatoes are a boor
That is the food of evermore
What I seek is quite unique
It is the mist in all mystiques

It comes to me the edge of dark
Where silence is the light of spark
And nothingness the rank of file
That goes beyond the seeing wile

I go this path no matter what
It is the crossing of the dot
Elimination of a phase
Changing in its endless ways

I dot the T and cross the I
To find the hole and needles eye

Gooood mooooorning, Mr. I ! ~ er, I mean, Mr. T. !

It is so refreshing to read a man who dots his "I"s and crosses his "T"s! ~ Especially  in a world that seems to have forgotten how to do either!

I suppose that makes you the "IT" Man!

Hiya Sy, Top of the morning to ya

Well sir, I believe your already there, if not very very close.  Your smile wears words well, with anticipation for all prosperity
those little signficant inner ones

Smiles and hugs, great poem...

your I's and T's look fine to me in the mist and the tique. I like them all.

Sincerely,
Reg

You make me giggle, Seymour!  That's the  crossed "i" and you make me think -- that's the dotted "t"!  A good afternoon to you, sir!  .....jo

I enjoyed this. I like the flow and how it slipped off my tongue like silk sheets would a freshly shaven leg.
