Temples

I built a temple made of groan
Cemented with a mortars moan
Zoned it high with shadows stark
Until it reached a rainbows arc

Aurora borealis sky
Whose hues of color made me sigh?
And followed it this fragile view
Until I reached the mornings dew

And in the dawning of the wile
I felt the whimper of a smile
Puffed my cheeks in unbelief
And let them blow in sheer relief

I found by sifting past in mime
The miracle of magic time
The rhyming of the bells that sing
The single note each soul would ring

And so my temple kite away
And left within a bright new day.

I think I'll go fly a kite! ~ as has been suggested to me many a time! lol

Wonderfully positive thoughts this morn.
Perhaps we all should reflect on this just
for a moment or two..

You know my dear friend, I have been in a sorrowful state all day today, and could not fly my kite if I wanted to.  This took my Monday frown and turned it upside down.  What a wonderful poem Sy, I printed this one and will have it done in a little framed print to go up with Kit and Mike's Widow's Walk poem.  Boy I miss all of you.  Hugs to Isabel too of course.
