Promise circles in its blow by blow
Nibbling the cone of fate, melting in the moments wait
Dribbling my chin in child’s smile

My feet perched upon the dash
Glow red that I might follow sink or splash
Perhaps I should just wile a while

Skyrockets paint with light the fringes fire
Multiples far more than math, far more than just desire
The spray of summer day, danced in effervescent bubbles play

And now…the quiet folds somehow to wish me well
The top is down to welcome into muse the crack and crown
July burns forth the sky…a stand remands the reasons and the why

Yet on this day, just intuition comes to play
From in the missed, your footsteps come, aware the sideline hum
That activates a summer dream back to the center of the stream

My hand ignites the engine…as my heart shines on high beam
