She was innocent
That is the whisper
the voice carried
on the wind
of the world
Her cries go silent
She is left alone
in the night
she once loved
now it has taken
its innimitable toll
the unpayable price
and she is gone
what she was
what was taken
can not return
now we are alone
in the night
she once loved
with her heart
pure as it was
wrapped in the dark
that can destroy
that innocence
She loved Him
So said the whisper
What is gone
Was a heart
oft used
oft broken
a crack in hope
did he steal
the beauty of her
spoken on the 7 winds
from the 4 corners
of what has been
of who has gone
She was innocent
that is the whisper
the voice carried
on the wind
of the world

"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!- prophet still, if bird or devil!-
Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted-
On this home by horror haunted- tell me truly, I implore-
Is there- is there balm in Gilead?- tell me- tell me, I implore!"
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

This poem is VERY moving, I have it bookmarked.  I think it stands out as a sincere cry from the heart in the forums.  It's an excellent poem, well done, please keep writing.

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

excellent my friend, simply excellent, I enjoyed the longing way of innocents possibly stolen.
Great work kid.
