Hole of darkness
I fell into
I grappled in the dark
When I lost you
No hope to see the light

I am crying
I feel like dying

No where to run
No where to hide

Can't turn back
Now that it is done
I just keep remembering
When I felt the sun

Cold and damp now
I shiver to the bone
I think I will just lay down
And go to sleep

Try to forget
Try to scream

And then try not to wake
For the pain is too real
When everything went dark
It left a hole way too deep

That last line grips me - it really summarizes all the agony and despair that is expressed in this poem.  Good poem.

~I too have a hole of darkness that I struggle not to fall into.  Please take care. This is a wonderful expression. *Peace.

That was a great work!

The emotions and imagery in this were very apparent and striking.

The terms are broad enough to convey general ambient darkness and ruin.  Very impressive!
