A breeze blows into the room through the window screen Causing the hairs on my arms to stand on end and the goosebumps to form on my bare legs But did this breeze ask if it could enter unanounced and stir up the cold in me? No! And despite the feelings I try to supress, I can't shake the fustration that's rising The 'whys' I'm sick of shivering I slam the window shut Causing the silence without the whispering wind to be deafening |

Yes kid some things enter unwanted, it seems our feelings have no bearing on the matter, the only way to stop it is to quickly shut it out. I like this poem very much. joel I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Oh Joy I loved this, it can be interperated so many ways, unseen prescense, the wind?? Great work and as with all things in life if it is unwelcome we close the window or door. Great work! Thanks fractal, Joel, and Isis. It felt good after I wrote this seeing as how I was suffering from a bad case of writer's block. It's good to be back on the sadle of poetry. lol. Joy |
