Darkness fears the light For the light will always show Darkness for what it is Cold Unfeeling Small Simple Darkness without the light Doesn't have to show it's reality It can hide itself Bold Fearless Gifted Complex Darkness I know you I have seen you envelop others Fooling their hearts' sight Deceiver Story-teller Viper Liar Darkness I battle you The shield of light I carry To protect my charges Defender Healer Knight Champion ----------------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Sven, I once too was taken and decieved by the darkness. The path out is not an easy one, but one that can be navigable. Hang in there, and always know that there are friends in the other poets here. |

As one currently traversing through the darkness, I find so much company here in it. I wish that there was a champion to come and get us all out. I suppose the religious of the world would say that is God, and I suppose that could be true. In review of what you have written, I perceive a bold and massive fight between God and Satan, and it appears that Goodness has won. I would be curious to know your inspiration here... Very beautiful and bold writing Sven. |
