My strength has grown
The truth I was shown
Stretch marks on my soul
Scars on my heart
Life ripped to pieces
Gotta learn new stitches
To sew my quilt of
Now I know
Thumbs calloused from
Past needle pricks
Repetitive motion
Burns the wrist
But I press on
Determined to complete this
Before the other shoe
Falls
And Love's cold hand
Makes a call.

Kynder~
I like the idea of quilting as you used it.

'To sew my quilt of
Now I know'

Each little phase of life becomes a square to be stitched into the 'quilt of life.'
Hope you find some 'happy' squares.

~Kynder,...what a concept.  How lovely a thought,...a quilt of life.  May your future patches be great. *Thanks for sharing. *Peace.
