I see you sitting
As you have so often
Wishing at the past
for who you lost

I see you losing
The Game A life
Who you were
Who you could have been

As you enter
The dark night
Walk tall as you did
as you will again

Be content
you will be remembered
You have a legacy
of strength and love

You have been real
A Light over rocks
A voice in the dark
Now you rest

I see you in the end
As you sleep
The sleep of the innocent
And I remember you

"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!- prophet still, if bird or devil!-
Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted-
On this home by horror haunted- tell me truly, I implore-
Is there- is there balm in Gilead?- tell me- tell me, I implore!"
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

What a lovely tribute.
There are some beautiful thoughts
in your piece.

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Very moving, it seems I've been loosing friends more and more each year, dear people of good hearts, like this friend of yours.
this is a very well done poem to them.
Thank you.

Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
