I know you're hurtin'
My Dear Friend
But, you've got to be strong
So you can move on
I know how you're feelin'
Cuz, I've been there before

When you feel like Cryin'
Cuz inside you're Dyin'
Remember to be strong
And try to move on

Do what U please
And do what U feel
But please my dear friend
Please don't cry
Please don't feel guilty
It was never your fault

There's so much pain....inside you
It drives you insane
No cure for the pain that you feel
But, don't worry my dear friend

Your pain will be healed
Until then
Go ahead and Cry
I'll be here by your side

What a poem! I have those emotions that you described and fortunate enough to have a best friend by my side to ease my grief!

With a friend like you, your friend is indeed lucky.  Lovely heartfelt sentiment.

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....
