I Knelt in the Rain

The realm of thought blackened and burnt,
Ignited by your touch,
Scarred by your breath,
And torn my your endless tears.

Mourning mists have parted at your presence,
Friend to the theif.
You left only scratches in the sky,
As you stole away the stars.

Young rabbit faced fools,
Run round about,
Blind and unscathed.
Unaware

Forever unforgotten,
Etched as brilliant rain,
Across your undaunted face.
I hated you and this place,
The night I knelt in the reign.
