fare thee not upon my shore
leave me here upon death's door
I want not for mortal gifts
e'er to ease, my heart rifts
gently now I lay to rest
fold my hands upon my breast
slumber comes in angry waves
all for you have I gave
cast me into darkest night
ne'er to see sweet morn light
lift me not from my despair
show me not that you care
it matters little that you give
for I struggle e'er to live
lay me down among the blooms
let my soul peruse the gloom
call me not into the day
this my word, my final say

very vivid indeed.
a great "dark" poem.
Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
