Well to all my poetic friends, I am saying good-bye. Two days ago I hit rock bottom and tried to end my pain. As you can tell I failed in my efforts for I am here tonight. During my days of recovery I realized I didnt want to be in the dark anymore. That I must fight for what I want and thats what I am about to do. I understand I have a long road ahead of me. But I am hopeful I shall survive it and see some light from now on. I want to thank each of you for all you have helped me with. I can not even begin to express the many ways you have helped me to survive as long as I have. Maybe soon I shall start writing "happy" poems and I will post in another forum here.  Peace and happiness to each one of you I opened up my eyes this day Thinking of what to say Saying good-bye to my dark knight Because it tis time I seen the light The light from the sun For this darkness I am done It is time I take my turn There is so much for me to learn Being happy is what I need And it starts just by planting a seed A seed within my heart To help me with my new start To overcome all this pain And to stop standing in the rain Smiling when I awake each day Feeling loved in every way These are the things I hope for For it is time I open my door My door to see the bright sun To smile and finally have some fun I no longer want to frown and cry Because this is my day to say Good-Bye I do not love you for being perfect..... I love you for being perfect for me!! |

My friend you will be missed, I hope you all the best I know where your coming from, I've been there, and yes plant a seed in the light and grow, but know we all will miss you so. Thanx Joel, I just might take you upon that someday soon. It is a long road, that I do know. Having support and friends shall help tho. Peace I do not love you for being perfect..... I love you for being perfect for me!! |

Dark Kisses it is with much sadness I read that you have reached rock bottom just a few days ago but it is with much joy that I continue to read and find that you are beginning your journey to find happiness. I wish you all the joy and happiness that this world has to offer...I am sure that as you reach out for this happiness it will also reach out to you.....James |

What a bittersweet poem to read. I wish you all the best and always remember that you have friends here if you ever need us, we will miss you in this forum. Do keep writing poetry, it will help you to release your pain, it will rejuvenate your spirit, so that you may heal and come back to us soon. Casting all of my....... Cares Failures Pain Sins Weights Hopelessness All of my....... Dreams Hopes Loves Pride Well made plans Successes All of my....... Seconds Days Years Yesterdays Todays Tomorrows I cast them all into the sea The sea that forgets all I CHOOSE to forget The bad, the good, the ugly! Everything is what I cast So I might be free to live one day at a time! So refreshing to feel the cooling waters At last flowing over my soul I waited so long.... So dry and so empty I felt Now I see the torrents coming The waves of forgiveness flowing Only their crushing power can drive away the past! I embrace the SEA..... So powerful to engulf me With all that I do All that I have done!!!! Waves rushing in to help cleanse To drown what I would want to keep Dark_kisses_Within.....I too have tried to check out. The aftermath brings such a different feeling, than the actual time you were locked into the desperation that drove you to check out. Please know you are still with us, because your too special to be lost. I am glad that your attempt failed....now is a time for new. I wrote this poem...and wanted to share it with you. I hope that we will see you back sometime when the time is right, and maybe a new name to represent a new leaf being turned over?
