The great divide has nothing on this Gulfs of space too far to bridge now We grew apart slowly And one day we tried to reach other Then we lost sight And we tried, in desperation we searched The distance was too far Yielding no vehicle Nothing to bring us together any longer We drifted even further with fear The more we tried to return The further we got No way back now And we painfully realized Too far Too long gone Too many miles NO way back The map is one of hidden treasure? Only few will find |

Oh God Illusion how close to home you hit on me. I tried for years to rebuild my marrage, with our hope. She had gotten to bitter. too many miles and to mush distance. this is also a great poem it goes to the bone. and so sad. My heart to you kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
