Sometimes we like to make believe things
Imagine everything is okay
Pretend
Just a wish
Then we force our eyes to open
Blinking only brings tears
Thoughts only choke us
I'm begging
I'm pleading
I'm living in a world of reality
Where pain is placed in the sun's rays
Where joy comes like a holiday
A break from the horror of life
That kills you every time it gets the chance
And when you get out of bed
Your face hits the floor before your feet
And you are
Constantly
Constantly
Crashing
Falling into another world which is also make believe
They all are
Is reality the pain or the joy
I'm tripping on my own feet
But I keep getting up
Because I have to
Because I make myself
Because pain is a daily dosage to my heart
And it is now my way of life
Because I let it be

Yea this does hit home, hell I've got splinters in my face from dragging the damn floor, but what can you do but get up and stumble into the day.
Joel. This is a masterpiece

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
