First let me say, I’m the guy that want’s to live forever, a thousand years is still to damn few. So with that in mind.  This is a true account of a friend that took his own life for no reason that I could see, and no one missed him, but me.
---------------------------------------------
I had a friend once who was in a bad way,
feeling low most all the time
finding laughter in life from the bizarre
he had no bills, not even a rent to pay.

He ran wild, as we all did,
we had the small town by the finger tips
what ever we wanted we got,
what ever we saw, God we were kids.

Well he shot himself in the head
that’s what the coroner said
I had the pleasure of cleaning out his things
what he had left even under his bed.

What they didn’t say to all that would hear,
is he miss his top not the shot went wide
that could account for
my missing six pack of beer

They the police told me he seem to be searching
for something after he had taken the shot
he crawled around on his hands and knees
and what ever he was looking for,-  he never got.

They the police told me it took a long time
he must have crawled around leaving a red trail
for better than two hours filling up the drawers, like blood pails
and looking in chairs he died,  in his hand a dime.

He found a final resting place
curled under a lamp table.
how he did that was beyond all concerned
just me the police
and an old picture of Clark Gable

He wound up on the floor
curled up like a baby,
his final resting place
for ever more.

I think about him now and then,
he wasn’t a bad sort.
Just confused, his world contort,
And how to me it was all a sin.
------------------------------
I howl tonight for all the lost soul’s that couldn’t see a way out of a temporary problem, and using a permanent solution. Look your friends in the eye and read the truth. Then help.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Joel~
So sorry for your loss as you must miss your dear friend very much. It's hard to understand why poeple take their own lives and some we never know why. Poeple accuse them of being selfish but thats because we are not in their shoes and the person who has taken their own life was not in their right mind they are ill and no matter what we did or said the outcome would most likely be the same unless they alone look for help.   even then some still are not saved and take their lives.
Sad read  ((HUGS))
