I long to set my words free.
My pen, poised above the stark,
White paper, does not move
To write my mind.
Words of love, pain or life as it goes by.
My hand,clenched in a position,
Tensed and ready to write,
Does not twitch with anticipation
Of jotting down another creation.
My mind, empty yet full,
Wanders senselessly,
Settling on nothing.
So many thoughts.
Not a one alike,
None able to be linked in a sentence
Of rhyme and reason.
Once again,
No poem tonight.

Very, Very good!!!  I liked this one....and how I can relate as one poet to another.  Thanks so much for the creative and fun read.  It brought a smile!

Very well done kynder.
I hate it when that happens.
So much to say but the words are just too hard to grasp.
But it turned out good for you.
Keep it up!

Wow Kynder, you must have been reading my mind.  I've had writers block for a couple of days...grrrr.....and how annoying it is not able to write your thoughts.  But maybe by reading some other wonderful Poems in here, that block will go away.

Firstly Kynder I'd like to thank you for your loving response to my 'Alone' poem I was really touched.  Email me hon and let's get to know each other a bit!!
This poem I can relate to all too well, and then also, there are those times when you have so much to say you cannot find where to start and end up producing nothing
Well Done

hey kid. I found my inspiration comes when I'm driving, but the other people just don't understand when I'm on the other side of the road writing, so I bought a small tape recorder, and now I carry it, when the inspiration hits I say a few words then sitting down listing to the tape all the thoughts of writing it all down comes to mind. try that. hahah and stay on your side of the road.
love you kid.
Joel.

Yes, it comes and you feel empty, you feel the void, but you know that these times are needed, still you wait for the rush and it will come....
it will come...as long as you hear it....good post
