The Search For Time She wandered past the park in a never-endind trance, Stopped to talk to no one; time was her only chance. The path was hard to follow, for it had never been taken before, Lit by only the moonlight, her insides cracked and split and tore. Long grass filled the meadow where the blades would claw her skin, But the danger lied in the forest where the blackness cut within. Though bleeding from the heart, the girl she went on strong, Climbed among a million thorns because she knew she was not wrong. Lost in her own silence she looked behind her as if unsure, Made an effort to move onward but a mountain stood before her. Where the search would end was just beyond the mountain top, But the wind whispered in her ear and she knew she had to stop. As the clouds rolled over the moon and the sky became har as stone, For the first time on her journey she was afraid of being alone. She sat in the shade of the mountain, unable to proceed, Cried softly to herself, "Time is all I need". ~Shandelier~ |

"Time is all I need". Wow. The countdown has already begun, yet why is it that the moment we realize that, is often just before the credits begin to roll? This is excellent Shandelier. Hooty hoo! |

God this is moving, very vivid, I can see this woman climbing the MT. within. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
