A Rose With Thorns

I like to give a rose with thorns, It’s natural peddle formation
and all it’s beauty when beheld is beyond compare
In all natures wonders the rose must be the most complex.
It has been compared to the human race many times
with it’s dawning as a bud,  and it’s forever opening
like your flight my white dove.

I do compare  you to this rose,
it’s power of fragrance is overwhelming
(you have a fragrance to your skin I linger to inhale)
it’s red ruby coloring unnatural and surreal
(your shining essence within is beyond compare)
it’s balance of petals uniform and confusing
(you have your feet on the ground,
but also have your complexities of wonder.)

This I adore and await to go spelunking
your depths of caverns within your heart.
I’ll move as gently as a wind crossing a southern plane
as not to disturb a hair on your brow, nor a scar on your heart.

And then the thorns, with the baggage we all haul,
I love you as you are, without change, with all that you are.
My eyes are wide, not shut, but open to all the possible intricacy,
you might posses.

I can give you the room to grow
although it pains me so.
But know this.
That each  time I kiss your lips I can’t describe the feeling.
Is that possible?
And each time I place my hand in yours
We have already made love.
And each minute that I don’t have you in my arms,
I die just a little inside.
I love you, I want you, I need you.
With all my heart.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

i am sure she could not resist

but then i wouldn't know

  Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

" I love you as you are, without change, with all that you are." Once again you have stolen my breath away. To be compared to such a beautiful flower. You can not help but to have etched your image in her heart.

may white dove finally build her nest in your heart when she tires of her flight.   you have such a pure love for her.  it is poetry in motion to witness.

"I can give you room to grow although it pains me so"..... words only spoken by someone in love.   I love your poems - They speak to me.

as a thorn is grafted onto the rose step by step, I pray each word is a step to your love's heart and she finds the fragrance waiting for her soon..with you...
