I am the absolute ruler in the night
sometimes the day,
I care not your feelings
I have been forever and I’ll stay

You can be the biggest or the badest
I care not I take you with ease
be you a baby or a whimpering pup
I tear you apart as I please.

I don’t care for your sweating body
I don’t care if you are having death throws
I know your deepest darkest fears
I know your all I know your woe’s

I come in the night with all the powers that be
you have prayed a thousand times to keep me away
I come disguised as a lover, or a rapist    not at bay.

No power can resist, no God sent light to shower
I’m the absolute omnipotent ruling power.

Every loss you’ve had, all the dirty little schemes
every heartfelt loss, every lovers dream.

I can make you cry for a longing lover
Your fears I take and use as my own
I can make you shiver and quiver.

I can let you have your wildest desires
then snatch them back into your heart briers
I can bring to you what you want most
let you dance one last time with a ghost.
make you think things have already happened
misguide, lead you astray and totally confuse
sending your spirit to worlds unknown completely used.

Your pillow at night you hold I make you believe
it’s your longing lover come back to be reprieved.
then as the day light comes I rest to see
what good works I have done to thee

Hours into the night, and sometimes into the day
I still even now invade your memories
and I work without pay.

Signed: Your Dreams.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Wow Joel.  This one had me at the edge of my seat.  I love then ending, unexpected.

Great Work

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

My adrenaline is rushing from trying to keep up, and I couldn't see what was coming.  Both sides of the mirror, and no one is safe, but where would we be without them?
I could read this over and over.
Thanks.

NamelessOne: Yes I have sleepless night. haha you think?
Daniel: Stay on the edge, it's exposing but full of flavor.
And Kitty: "Where would we be without them."
I had a sleep deprivation when I was young,
I slept the sleep of the dead, never moved from the time I went to sleep to the time I woke up, and no R.E.M., I hit the bottom of the scale and stayed there. For 15 years.
No I was not asleep for that amount of time but each night was ?? death to me.
Thanks for the feed back.
love you all.

They haunt me day and night and continue to rip my soul apart, but this is where people like us dwell. I can only hope that one day someone will see fit to grant us these dreams.
Hmmm!

Kitty:
While in a local restaurant, an (western) Indian woman approached me and said you will start dreaming, She was a shaman, and she started me on a journey of physic camps and spiritual adventures, being a dream interrupter, she taught me to guide myself within my dreams, she taught me to shape clouds. And so many things.
And to ride the winds of life.
I owe this person so much, she walks the clouds now.
