Sometimes I feel like nobody's there,
That no one I know has a life that's fair.
All the love in this world and caring has died,
Just too many teardrops that have been cried.
The hope that I believed in is just part of what I've lost,
I don't have the faith or the courage to face up to the cost.
The hatered and the hurting is just building up too fast,
There is no way to break through and let go of the past.
The thoughts that I think can think no good,
For I see nothing except where I only once stood.
No one but me can understand,
Nothing can help but one special hand.
Sometimes I feel like no one cares,
This time I know that nobody's there.

Well Shandeleir, we have another light in the dark forum now.  Welcome!!  Can totally relate to this poem, as we all can I'm sure.
I feel like there's nobody there and they can't see me either!!! Welcome again

It is lonely to stand on a hillside, looking back, over the path we have traveled, and not a helping hand in sight, not a soul on the trail.
Some do know how this feels, you are not alone.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Welcome Shandelier to Passions!!

I really liked this first post and I agree with Isis.  But in time someone will come along to remove that feeling. Be patient

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Welcome. If you're feeling alone you definately have come to the write place. My emptiness seems as if it's filling since I came. Just keep on writing and you'll find that everyone here is pretty much in the same boat. Great post!

The words that come to me here fail me elsewhere.
Mute.
Made dumb by my own thoughts.
Tonguetied and awkward.
Tripping over my own voice.
A pen and paper for my voice.

This is my first reply on the Passionate forum. Your words touched me as my own had some 15-16 years ago. It seems to me dark emotions call up strangely creative, healing times in our lives. Thank you for letting me share yours. As with the other posts above, you can believe the brightest times of our lives sometimes follow the darkest. You have found a path that will take you to your bright future.

[Eventually we ALL get it right! hehehe]
