A starry night shining  so bright,
holding you is beyond all I could hope for
With cascading fear, in the flight of life.

I’ve sought you out for many years,
looking over my shoulder catching a glimpse of you.
Through light stained tears.

Knowing it’s to end soon,
I don’t think it’s much to ask,
that you give me back my heart or
a soft kiss a nod of the head a hug that would last.

Nothing last forever so they say,
does not true love end with the abyss,
I’d carry your kiss to the end -of the day.

So say good night sweet love of mine,
fly off to the sun set,
with your heart still intact,
my secret love so divine.

Loves are lost and won every day ,
why do mine seem to be every second
why can’t I have it just once my way.

I cry myself to sleep with fear and love of you so,
threw light stained tears I love you,
do you know?

Just to pull you close to my chest
to smell your skin in the passion and heat,
to watch you gasp for air to watch the rise of your breast
wanting more than ever to hear your heart beat.

Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Joel this one is so extraordinary.  My favorite of yours. I will print this one.

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Dad I can see the love and light in you, so sad this poem is, there is always hope you know this.  Your Goddess daughter sends lots of love and *hugs*

Joel~
Soo sad, your heart is very lonely and is aching. (most likely from all the beatings you gave it) no seriously I felt sad reading this and send you a HUG..
