I close my eyes.

I can only hope as I close my eyes,
that you are safe from harm,
Knowing that you are strong,
quick, and a woman with charm.

The world down there is full of woe,
some good and a lot evil,
to survive within it’s graces,
you loose yourself to become feeble.

Take care
of that precious light of yours,
bask within it’s warmth,
and let your white Dove spirit soar.

It’s not all bleak in this man made world,
I found you within it all,
drifting thoughts of our once love,
when I touched you my heart did curl.

Waking up now without you beside my heart,
my spirit searches life’s questioning loneliness
I seem to finally wake up look around with you gone it’s a start.

I dream of you by my side,
with my arms around you,
we give each other a tender morning kiss,
love stricken heart felt loss now, God I miss.

Is my heart truly made of stone,
can I ever venture out to the world alone
to show my head once held high
Can they see that inside I have died.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

ahhh....The worries and wonders of love. Loving and hating the experience of going through it.
Very emotional piece, Joel.

Joel [Dad  ]  this was so sad hon..No one should let that inner late fade, I'd die before I would!!  Sensitively written my dad :0 Love you too hon

The first two lines were my favorite, being safe from harm, and someone caring that I was/am.

The compliments are overwhelming, and from the people I admire very much I am trying to reach where you are, The heart you guys put into each word is inspiring. I have just started in the last 18 mounts. So I'm playing catch up late in life. hahaha, but
hat's ok I'm not going anywhere.

THis was wonderful Joel. So sad at the end, Isis is right no one should have that inner light fade and die.  Wonderful Work!!!

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."
