Ok!!!
I’m tired of this.
I’m going to put myself in a corner,
and beat the hell out of my heart and everything it has left to offer.
I know that at my wits end, my heart seems insane,
I’m going to kick it senseless until it can only think of the pain.
I’m going to beat it senseless wake it up and beat it some more.
I’m going to beat it again and again, until it screams out to God,
and then beat it some more.
I’m going to beat it so hard, until it yells out I give.
I’m going to beat it again because it say’s I live.
I’m going to take it out and tear it apart.
I’m going to drag it through passions until it says it’s no longer a heart.
It will never see beauty again.
It will think love is only a sin.
I’ll beat it so senseless all it’s thoughts will be introspect.
Not one thought will pass again as a resurrect.
Mourn and howl all you want you can even cry.
I’ll chain this heart to the ground it will never fly.
I’ll dissect this bloody heart of mine, piece by piece.
I’ll drive my White Dove’s wings from this beast.
Your so pathetic you wolf of the night you want wings to take flight.
There’s not much you fear in your wolf’s town,
mighty you thought you were, your going down.
There’s not much left in this withered wolf beast,
I’ll smash this dove’s wing to pulp,
with your bloody heart and wont think the least.
but the one great fear you have most.
‘Tis the fear of the wind swept shadow’s love you call ghost.
Willow’s wisp and bar your mournful cry’s that howl and shutter.
Weeping vines chain this wolf’s heart to the ground,
staying the search for a significant other.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Joel,

Such anger within this.  Pain pouring from every word.  I truly hope you don't feel this....

Be well my friend

Joel...this one is so strong...and so true.
But we always find some release to our pain, and it only helps us to grow stronger.
I love it.

I'll take your heart
and put it in a safe place.
i'll give you a plastic one
to replace.
beat on that one
throw it around
kick it to the curb
and smash it to the ground.
When you get done
i'll be there
holding your heart
keeping it safe with my care.
When your ready for it back
it will be right here.
i'll be the caretaker of it
till then my dear

good poem. shows lot of pain though i hope things get better for you

Doing all that won't even stop the pain hon.
So sorry you feel this way it is frustrating and sometimes it seems the only thing to do..
Email me if you need to talk ok?

Thank you for the concern, And
dhuron, yes the anger is there, but subsiding here.
I.Rose. I liked the poem, an inspiration thank you.
sKiTtLeS : You have a very big heart, thank you.
just_another_fe: I would give you my heart to hold, but it no longer beats in my chest, but with my dove. Thank you anyway. If I ever find it you can do that.
Sea: again Boundless, and all knowing, I bow to your wisdom.
Isis: Thank you for the invite. I just needed to beat the hell out of something, I picked the hurting part.
I'll attack my brain next, it seems to lack the wit. hahaha

Thank you again. one and all.

Yeah Joey this reminds me of some of the feelings I felt when I wrote a poem called The blues.  I dispise the hurt and the pain you feel after a heartbreak...the best medicine is to pick yourself up as soon as it is humanly possible and move on.  James

Joel~
You made me feel so sad with this, I don't think your heart will take such a beating.
You've been hurt really bad and I feel for you.
The hearts such a beautiful thing and so fragile, it's broken quite easily but given time will mend and renew itself to it's former glory and I hope yours does soon.

Thank you again one and all.
The only problem is I had frozen my heart, and it beat against the inner walls for this love,
I told it not to in the beginning, but it wouldn’t listen, so now it requires a beating.
I hardly ever hear of a poet dying from a broken heart, and if they do, it’s in epic proportions. Come to think of it I don’t ever hear of a poet dying at all, their words live forever. I think everybody has it wrong, In the beginning God said let there be light? how did she say that? haha.  As in a full circle this universe revolves and the last to go will be the word.
Love you all. and then some.

I have had the same feelings as you.  I got through them buy going to the guy and beating the heck out of the punching bag.  But after it was done all I needed was a long cry and a night of drinking.  I hope your heart heals soon.  I feel you have alot to give to someone special.
Great Work.

Yes I do feel better, and thank you.
and thanks Michael it is a good vent.
Better to do this than tay at home and drink my self to death. But I've only been drunk once in 20 years , by choice. hahaha.
As we all know we do feel better after pushing that small button on the botttom, for all to read, We are not alone.
To all thank you.
