you say, 'oh that's nice.'
When I tell you I can't live without you,
you say, 'oh that's nice.'

When I asked you if you loved me
you said, 'only as a friend.'
When I asked you if you couldn't live without me
you said, 'only as a friend.'

Why is it that I give my heart
To someone who won't give theirs?
Why is it that I love someone
Who barely even cares?

Love is our greatest weakness
but when it's found,
it's our greatest strength.
