   Then come to me...

I wait for you with weary eyes...
You walk my way...still in disguise...
I called out to you a million times...
And with the breeze your words came back...
"Then come to me”...you softly whispered...
When night shall fall...and all asleep...
The moon is watching...the stars await another..."
We’ll ride the heavens...while hell does freezes...
why rush me now...?just let me float...
To lands with no pain..where lies a hope...
Where till dawn I’ll Waltz with the smile in mind
And hand in hand...all dressed...in dreams...
The music plays...and in your arms...
"Then come to me...this time a voice...
Where sorrows vanish...so far away...
Just lay your head...and feel so light...
Close your eyes...and feel the music...
Then come to me...nightly asleep
Where stars await...another one..."
Then come to me...then come to me...
death...

"To all those who read...this is not about suicide...BIG NO ON THAT...LIFE'S FOR LIVING...
THIS POEM...it's for someone whose ailing...and waits for the god of death to take him to be with his love...
please don't misunderstand..."
for any whom i may have offended...
My humble apologies...always...AVANTI

Avanti
I’ve written short stories with the same topic,
Loves that have passed on, and wishing to be with them
hearing the call to come home with them.
Beautifully written, Beautifully expressed.
It’s not really my place to ask you But,
Please never apologize on the same page with emotions like this.
Joel.

Avanti, I agree with janet.

Perfection from your pen.  Most Excellent poem.

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Avanti,
Excellent work!!  Powerful, gripping, and very emotional.  I hope your friend finds an end to the pain.

Powerful, emotional piece Avanti, I hope your friend finds the peace they seek, and indeed is reunited with past loved ones..
Great work!

Hauntingly beautiful poem.  I can totally relate to the vantage point it is written from.  Very well done, Avanti.
