I'm waiting for my heart to pour out
All that's inside of me
My feelings released on paper
Coming out in poetry
I'm waiting, it's just not coming
I think I'll go and wait for inspiration to hit
But all the flowers have died,
The heart beat of man has already started to wilt
No pouring out of true feeling
No inspiration in sight
Is writing a growing struggle also
in my life?
I don't want to think about it
I'm not satisfied with, with...
things
anymore.
Call it fustration, lost will,
Call it what ye may
I'm just not feeling it inside me
And that's where I need it to be.
Ah well....

Thanks for reading.  I've been gone for awhile.  It's good to be back.  I think I'll go read some posts of all you wonderful poets now.

Yours,
Joy

excellent poem joy...and excellent to have you posting as well.
very well expressed emotions in this...
writers block is a CURSE for sure.
take care, jm

The stars shine so bright, now's the time
I close my eyes - soft wind touch my face,
Cool sand upon the place where I once kissed you
And held you close.
Now I will reach for the stars...
Because Oh my love, that's where you are...
Though the storms of black night rage on
I still see your face
I still feel your lips on mine
And though my heart feels all alone without you
I still hear you sing to me
I still hear your voice on the sea...

Thank you so much Joy.
You have a way with your writing, that is intriguing.
and very inspiring, I’m new at all this, having been repressed for so many years
by another, this is the best I have felt in a long time.
Thank you again
Joel.

I've asked the same question... wonderful work Joy

A heart and soul are not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others...

I feel this way to, the more i write the less satified i been feeling with it lately,  The part where you mentioned about writing becoming a problem everyday like the rest has been a real thron lately in my life as well.  I hope you get over it soon.

There's a peace inside us all
Let it be your friend
It will help you carry on
In the end
There's a peace inside us all
