In the still of the night I see your face,
the shining within, your movements
of touching, and holding inside tender grace.

My nights are long, with shadows that dance upon the walls,
and my lonely heart’s discontent the blessed sun rises,
shadows of lone laughter, mocking love soon falls.

We can’t perceive the future, nor change the past,
We can only hope for the now , staying good hearted
with someone to love, with a love that will last.

What more can I confess to you but my  hearts most desires
to be with you, live my life with you, love you into the night
to cool you on hot days, hold you on cold nights by the pyres.

Wicked is the frost upon me of natures heart,
the eventual loss of my love (you)
will be all to soon, as we all part.

I want each moment with no thoughts other than of you
God give me my dreams, my thoughts of love
my thoughts of a life free to share too,
thoughts of my one and true white dove.

When I’m with you my soul soars to heights unknown
never dreamed of this much passion,
I’m trying hard to remain calm, the fruits of my heart unsewn

I loved that verse.

There's a peace inside us all
Let it be your friend
It will help you carry on
In the end
There's a peace inside us all
