I go through these feelings everyday, No matter how hard I try they just won't go away. I see you there it's always the same, I always get butterflies, I know it sounds lame. I'm walking away because I know you don't see, The same things I do, we can never be. At night I close my eyes and all I see is us, What I wish we could be, but I'm not going to fuss. I have feelings you don't have for me Oh why can't we be? My life would stop if I we didn't have each other, We've got something I've never had for another. We can be closer than friends, I know we can, Because I am a woman and you are man. You tell me that you aren't ready for love, But this is what I have always dreamed of. To be in your arms, it would be a dream come true, I tell you to think about me and you. We have something not many others have, I've got my feelings now where's your half? I know they're there, you just won't express, I know you like me don't say anything less. You're scared of getting a little too close, But my heart says I have feelings for you the most. I've never felt this way about anyone before, Everyday I want you more and more. Just please consider what I've just said, If you don't why shouldn't I be dead? I've got a love for you that is so true. Please read this: I love you! |

I like this..you've revealed your feelings here very clearly...hopefully he feels the same way about you...if this love doesn't work out for you it certainly will not be because you don't know how to express you feelings of love. James |

I am sure everyone has felt this way at some point i know i have it is a universal phenomenon i wish you luck i certainly had none. Thanks for all of your replies!!! i love to know what others think of my work!! my heart has a chance to get what it wants and the one i wrote this to has seen it and replied positively. I just want to tell everyone out there that if you have something that you want to express...a poem is a great way. so thatnks all of you for taking time to read my poem!!! read my other one too!!! it's called *The Only Place I Wanna Be* Thanks again!!! |
