The shadows of my past are not dark at all, They are full of joy. In the past I would never fall, I got all the friends and every boy. But things have changed, My rein has come to an end. My popularity aged, No longer to again every extend. Guys dont shoot me a second glance, Girls look down upon me. For Homecoming queen I dont stand a chance, On the weekends Im always free. Was I like this in my past, Did I walk with too much pride. I shouldve known that the happinest wouldnt last, I should have seen people for what is inside. It takes a minute to give your heart away, It takes as second for it to break. It takes a lifetime to forget that special someone, And the impact that they make. |

Oh this is a sad one. Life isn't over yet, I can assure you! When young we tend to worry about popularity etc. rather than being special on the inside. We've all had to learn this lesson, you've learnt it too now, start again and make friends for what they are, not who.. Well done!!
