I have within me the power of the light, Reborn again on a cold winter's night, Wisdom of the ages, steadfast and true, Powers unbeknownst to you. The capabalities to love selflessly, Mother to all as it should be, The Mighty Goddess dwells within me, She has shown you all I can be. Why should I smother all that shines, Why should I pretend to be something I'm not, Yearning and learning, I need to live, And you my friend need to learn to give. A wild bird, never seen or known man, Will die when locked inside, Out of the wind and rain, Her spirit simply subsides.. I too am that caged little bird, Wanting to sing, wanting to be heard, Don't lock me up and throw away the key, Let me shine, let me fly, let me be all I can be. The reincarnated lifeforce in me, Will not be smothered, but longs to be free, You mortals with your limits and boundaries, Open your eyes, and your hearts and really see..... There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

I love the message of hope that this poem gives out. I could definitly relate to many of the lines. Just let yourself fly free. Great job Unspoken love is the loudest of all |
