I Wrote A Little Poem Today |

I wrote a little poem today, And this is how it goes. It shows another side of me, That no one really knows. There's emptiness inside of me, That I may never fill. And loneliness that comes with age, Is such a bitter pill. My shattered soul; my broken heart, These feelings that I feel. As time goes by, I will live, But I know I'll never heal. As time goes by, I've realized, That I'm at last alone. My feelings just get harder, Like motar, brick and stone. The hardness of my mind is worse, It brings the tears that stream. Outside I feel the silence, Inside I hear the scream. I never would of thought of this, If you've asked me early on. I always thought there'd be someone, Now all of them are gone. nice work. those sentiments are exactly why i started to write poetry. and it is the only release that has satisfied me. i love too much, and not enough. |

Very nice "little" poem. You seem to show so much passion in ur pieces, I love it! Keep up the hard work and remember.... we may feel alone, but there is always someone is the shadows waiting to be ur friend. Piece, Dark_kisses I do not love you for being perfect..... This is a sad little piece, we've all felt this way at one time, and poetry is always wonderful to help vent!!
