Fiend from hell you rejoice at those slain,
You rejoice at all misfortune,
The Lord sitting on his throne up so high,
Hangs his head and silenty cries.

Degrading, manipulations, selfishness,
No longer I sit quietly on the fence,
A life torn and stripped by misery,
Is that all that awaits me?

Pointing your skeletal finger,
In accusation my way,
But who counts the cost
At the end of the day?

Tis I that lays shattered and bleeding,
Tis on my soul that you are feeding,
I beg for my daily bread,
No longer feel right in the head.

Promises broken, what's the use in hoping?
I only took what I needed,
Never a day without misery,
Never a day you don't test me.

So the land runs out and into the sea,
What future is waiting for me?
Where those beautiful and grim standing stones,
Stand in a circle for all to see.

They call to me, for I am the ultimate sacrifice,
Stonehenge dark and forboding summons me,
I go freely with no hesitation,
For what is one more humiliation?

Upon the alter I calmly lay,
That fiend from hell circles above,
I gladly go to him now,
For I don't feel I deserve to be loved.

The hand of death caressing me,
Taking me from life's pain,
Fiends, I'm used to them,
I'll never breath or hurt again...

Isis,
I hear your pain loud and clear.  Sent shivers down my spine just reading it.  Excellent work!!!

Your poem is fantastic!  It reached inside and awakened responses to the pain.  Beautiful as always.
