Open your eyes and tell me what you see I see the Dark Knight glaring at me Dressed in all black with his eyes shining bright Waiting to attack at the very first sight Smiling at me with that evil grin Looking at me with his eyes full of sin Feeling his arms reaching for me The coldness of evil for always to be I try to escape as I begin to run Looking through the night for a glimpse of the sun I shiver, shake and begin to cry Screaming for help for I am affraid to die Feeling his breathe, hearing his voice so deep My body goes numb as I begin to wheep Telling me I am meant to be his bride Walking through the darkness by his side I sit up straight and reach for his hand For I no longer have the strength to fight him again. |

Wow fantastic me like a lot and my kind of poem hope to see more from you very good dark and decriptive "The subtle sheen crosses his breastplate the darkness swirls in his Death dead eyes brittle hearts shatter around him falling into the pit of his soul The purest black emanates from that bitter mind and takes me and i am lost Forever" Did you write the Book of Love And do you have faith in God above If the Bible tells you so Do you believe in rock 'n roll Can music save your mortal soul And can you teach me how to dance real slow |

Truely inspired. reading your words I could almost see the dark vissage of this evil knight, and feel the helplessness that comes in facing him, the anguish of finally having to give in to the dark. I think we all accept the cold embrace of the dark at one time or another. I just wonder is it possible to return to the light? |
