Finally I am beginning to see the error of my ways I realize the part I played in the destruction of our marriage My petty jealousy, insecurity, and poor self image have gotten between us since the beginning they are there because I have put them there but I do not want them there anymore Is it too late to withdraw the swords that pierced your battered bleeding heart? I have crushed your gentle spirit and wounded your soul; your very being You loved me so much you gave up who you were because you thought that was what I wanted it did not make me or you happy instead it lead to further destruction It is not all my fault I know you played a role in the tragedy too can the ending change or is it too late to escape the darkness of the final curtain? I see a ray of light piercing the darkness drawn to it I step forward timidly illuminated by the light I see a form our love lays there tattered, wounded, helpless. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

Beautiful work, I applaud you for your realizations and honesty. I too have stood where you stand today, not with the jealousies but full of self doubt, lacking confidence, all not of which I was responsible for. . I came to passions and rediscovered myself , what I am, what I love, what I need, and to love myself again. You are on the right road now, sometimes it'll still be hard, and problems faced might be inconsolable but try, always keep trying and hope for the best. It sounds stupid but I'm proud of you, for I know the weight of realization when it comes can be so much to bear. Bravo! Janet Marie, I have not given up yet, but it is not easy. Thank you, I feel a large piece of the blame rests on my shoulders. Mai Ling, thanks...total truth. Broken Wings, Believe me, my eyes are fixed on the light. All hope is not yet lost. Isis, Thank you from my heart. Took a while to realize, but I accept the error of my ways. Now, I hope to change that. Please remember, we are not all to blame for these things. I know the road will be hard, but I do hold out hope that love will conquer all. It does not sound stupid that you are proud of me....very touching and I thank you for the kind words. They mean a lot and yes, the weight can be tremendous. Kim, Glad they spoke to you.
