Baird, healer and friend,
That's all she'll ever be,
When will someone really see and love,
All she seems to be.

This castle now seems lonely,
Though she helps other's all day long,
When would the God's send her one and only,
And fill her empty heart with song?

Oh sure, she is loved,
All the locals love her in fact,
For helping them, nursing them,
Or spinning a tale but still she feels this lack..

Visitors come to the castle,
And many men have been quite interested,
But she only like or love them as friends,
No matter what they did or said.

Still a virgin at seventeen,
Her writings and stories her best friends,
That and the animals she cared for,
A selfless love right to the end.

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

beautiful poem of reflection and longing isis... I understand the emotions meanings in this one...

She is all those things. . . and so much more. . . and one day, one will come and open her hearts door. . .
