I hear it blow through me
Through the trees as well
Touching all in its path
And leaving its chill on all it touches
Soothing souls that accept it
And gently massaging away pain
And I cannot be soothed
Nor do I wish to be massaged
To have life back into a dead heart
What a stunning sensation
Where would I dwell
Without loneliness as a home
And who would I love
Without the need to love hate
And who would love me
Without the ability to accept
The Wind of Peace.

Good poem, but i am interested what inspired this one.
And who would I love
Without the need to love hate
And who would love me
Without the ability to accept
The Wind of Peace.

This sounds like lines i might write. Reading my thoughts i see.

well jer, this one wasnt really inspired as much as it was just spilled out i think.  its tough being the kind of person that wont let things rest and will not accept a life without drama.  i think maybe it only seems like i enjoy the drama that seems to surround me, and even if i wanted to i dont think i could avoid it.  and its a tough realization that without the hate you have for things in your life, what would you love, and who would love you for having that hate and not being able to be a peaceful person.  if any of that makes sense.  it does to my life.

These lines really spoke to me, I suppose we all build little walls around to keep our selves from being hurt again ...and sometimes don't want to let anything pass through those walls

well done
