Drowning in a sea of misery, There is no way to escape, The waves come crashing down, And I am weighed by sorrow and heartache. The storm continues, The light is gone, I've lost all hope, And sense of direction. I am beginning to be pulled under, It's getting harder and harder to just hold on, To what little faith I have, I begin to cry. My tears add to the confusion, When will it end? Where has the sun gone? Where are you? I know that the storm will end, The clouds will break, And I will see your face again, but in the meantime i just sit here and drown. |
