His eyes droop
And ears fall
But to avail
No sleep will call

Awake remains man
as friends patrol
Voices call out
"Come one, Come all"

feined fun
imagination erodes
bitter voices
emptey abodes

Demand attention
pills swallowed
as he slips down
nights great show

He never came back
He died that day
To many stories
wishing him away

As other eyes droop
and other ears fall
to the sound of this story
others will fall

Did you write the Book of Love
And do you have faith in God above
If the Bible tells you so
Do you believe in rock 'n roll
Can music save your mortal soul
And can you teach me how to dance real slow
