God has no more tears left to shed
Another child wound up dead
He has long gone dry eyed
But His heart each time dies
Freewill, the decision he now regrets
Into another darkness as the sun sets

God has cried countless tears
For each and everyone’s fears
Another smile erased
From a child’s face
No answers, just questions remain
We are all guilty, equally to blame

God cannot cry anymore
We can only with prayer, implore
Divine intercession
Is out of the question
So we live on, feeling unnecessary fears
And we go on crying, for God has no more tears

(For Kayla, and all the too numerous to ponder rationally)

I wish someone would figure out what to do about this....Kids killing kids.  I am almost to the point of thinking I need a bullet proof vest before entering my own classroom.

Beautiful poem Kayla and her Mom would love it.

As an Australian we outlawed guns a couple of years ago.  Everyone went spack etc, but unless you were a farmer, bushman, or professional shooter ie in shooting club and competitions you were not allowed to have a gun.  Those that did had to give them to the goverment.  People were outraged, but it seems to be working.
Sure a bad guy can still get a gun if he wants it, this merely lowers the odds a bit.
I think you all in America need to do something similar.  I know there will be a cry about our constitution etc.  But desperate measures are needed, and too many ordinary joe americans have guns in the house.
Lovely poem again, sorry I got carried away, but that is easy, as this subject is close to everyone's heart.

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be...

I love you...always.

Eveeryone thanks. I wished i had taken more time with this one, but it just gushed out after seeing her picture for the first time. Put blond hair(and 4 years) on her, and it could be my daughter. I know we all have rights in America, but i don't think the founding fathers were talking about handguns in 1776. I live in the south, where i am blasphemous for being anti-gun. I am not. Just anti-murder. There is no valid reason for handguns. Period. I do believe shotguns and some rifles are ok. Hunting is a big part of our country. And i do believe in the 2nd amendment.(For its intent) We just need common sense. Sorry for rambling on, but man i'm tired of senseless deaths like this.
This was also in answer to why God lets things like this happen. I believe, He doesn't interfere with us. He gave us a gift of Free will and look what we do with it. And in my philosophy, i think He is all cried out at His decision, as well as our actions.(or inactions)

I agree James. But we are all to blame. Most of the country are common sense people like us...just ordinary average people. But the 1% extremists control government along with big money lobbyists.
We need to take back this country by voting where our mouths are.
