A LIFE WITHOUT DREAM

No one dies from a broken heart,
But who really lives again?
I face the world playing my part,
No passion left to pen.

Dare I believe that by tomorrow
Death won't be guiding thy hand?
Oh, harvester of untold sorrow,
Woe to be at thy command.

What thou hast held in hand loosely,
Cherished love signified;
Now, forever, bleeding profusely
Meets Death, ill-dignified.

But dost thou sleepest one eye open
In this world without dream;
Lest silence overtake thee when
Hope lies but with a scream?

In channeled thought by Love forgot
I wake to the sun shining.
Storm clouds drift on, that Hope be drawn,
But leave no silver lining.

By Time doth yet one, all, forget,
But who left there forgives?
By sweetest Death, by bated breath,
Tell me who left there lives?

Michael Anderson

 'Tis true, Love lasts forever,
Only her memory slips away.

Michael hon there is always hope for and in tomorrow.  I know what you are going through, be strong, you've gotten through worse than this before, you'll shine again.
*HUGS*

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

"No one dies from a broken heart,

--------
Your pen is blessed with passion...
your heart is filled with forgiving grace,
still believeing in love's exsistence...
will release you from this painful place.

You are reborn of second chances...
let not this momentary ache deceive,
with in your heart lies the answers,
and in yourself you must ALWAYS believe.
jm

well, its late...be kind(smile)
I just couldnt let the line about the pen lacking its passion to go untouched...

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name
And know my love and my desperation were one and the same...
Baby it's alright...
Take this pain and all this sadness
It's alright
Take this rain
You're going to be free...

You know, Isis,  I have gotten through worse than this - way worse.  Still, it never fails to amaze me how the heart can literally ache in a physical sense.  To feel real pain from a broken heart....

Janet, thank you for the poetice reply.  Your words are most true.  I do believe in myself - I'm just not sure I can trust my own judgement anymore...and that sucks!

Thank you both for your kindness.

Shall we live to breathe again? Or simply just exsist in this limbo we dare to call life!

M, try not to be so hard on your self... some of us always let our heart lead us...its just who you are...its not wrong.
I know it hurts like hell right now, I truly know how much it hurts...but I also know that very soon, as the hurt heals...the pain gives way to the realization that no matter how much it hurt, you'll not trade those moments when it was right...no amount of pain can take away the way it made you feel ... when your heart found love again... and you will know that feeling again... Your judgement is fine...trust your self. Look for the light...your shines amazingly bright.

thank you for all you kind words to my work and my replies to your work...your words heal me too...(SMILE)

In wrote this for the person who made me feel "no regrets" as i was saying to you above...you'll feel this way again soon, i promise

~Searching For The Words~

There just are no words to express what I really need to say...
to make you understand-I was lost and you helped me find my way.

How does one thank another ... for breathing life back into their soul,
For the gifts of love, faith, and trust, allowing me to again feel whole.

I am so deeply grateful for the inspiration returned...
for the encouragement and honesty, all the lessons learned.

Pain from the past had been costly and taken its toll on me,
then you taught me about forgiveness-the way it sets us free.

So now as my heart still heals...this I need to do...
Give to you these simple words ... to express my love, respect, and gratitude.

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be...

That's a hard question to answer Michael...but the pain does ease after a while and eventually life does move on....all pain does ease in time my friend, just remember that

Michael,
I do know your pain, I'm feeling it myself these days.  I have a strong spiritual belief system, which guides me.  Even this awful agony if for a reason.  We just have not yet been shown the reason.  Keep the faith, baby.
