Although we cannot be together,
We'll never be apart,
With friendship and understanding,
A different love that comes straight from the heart.

I'm here for you to lean on,
And I may lean sometimes too,
I know that you are with me,
As I am there for you.

I'll always remind you,
What a special man you are,
How you touch the lives of others,
No matter where they are.

We both have similar destinies,
To help others along the road of life,
How wonderful it is to know,
We share this duty in life.

So take my hand John,
We'll walk this road together,
Somehow we'll see it through,
With kindred hearts such as ours - there's nothing we can't do.

this was great. reminds me of the love i share with my best friend in the entire world, leslie. friendships are so important in life and when we meet someone who seems to be made for us, its even more special. me having met this person, and obviously you having met yours, we are two very lucky people. thnak you for reminding me of my friend, i think ill call her right now and tell her hi and i love her. thanks!
