I was quite happy until you came along. It didn’t set the world alight, It wasn’t right, It wasn’t wrong. But it wasn’t right, And I knew it all along. And, then, you came around, Tearing me apart with just the sound Of your voice. Confusion abounds. Should I stay here or pursue These strange feelings I’ve found Invade my heart and grip my soul Whenever you are around? Someone please help me to find The right way. Logical mind says I should stay With what is safe But each day I find myself wondering how it would be, Just you and me, Love running free. Can’t ever be. |
